How to Play CrazyWicket
CrazyWicket is a hand cricket game where every ball is a mind game. Two players face off in simultaneous turns — the batsman picks runs while the bowler tries to guess the same number. If they match, it's a wicket. Here's everything you need to know to start playing.
Step 1: Download & Set Up
Download CrazyWicket for free from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). When you first open the app, you'll create a player profile with a team name. No account registration is required — you can start playing immediately.
Step 2: Choose Your Game Mode
- Single Player — Practice against AI opponents to sharpen your strategy
- Multiplayer — Challenge real opponents online in real-time matches
- Play with Friends — Invite friends directly for private matches
Step 3: The Toss
Every match starts with a coin toss. The winner decides whether to bat or bowl first. Batting first means you set a target; bowling first means you chase it.
Step 4: Batting
When you're batting, you secretly select how many runs you want to score on each ball: 1, 2, 3, 4, or 6. But there's a catch — high-value shots are limited per innings:
- 6 runs: Max 2 per innings
- 4 runs: Max 2 per innings
- 3 runs: Max 2 per innings
- 2 runs: Max 3 per innings
- 1 run: Max 3 per innings
Shot limits scale proportionally in longer formats (5, 10, and 20 overs).
If the bowler guesses the same number you picked — you're out. Manage your limited shots wisely and vary your patterns to stay unpredictable.
Step 5: Bowling
When you're bowling, your goal is to guess what number the batsman will pick. If you guess correctly, the batsman is out — that's a wicket. Study your opponent's patterns: are they using their 6s early? Are they playing it safe with 1s and 2s? Use psychology to predict their next move.
Step 6: Match Format
- Each innings is 2 overs (12 balls maximum)
- Each innings has 2 wickets — lose both and your innings ends early
- Both players bat and bowl in alternating innings
- The player with more runs at the end wins
- Matches take 2-3 minutes from start to finish
Tips for Beginners
- Vary your choices — if you always pick 6, your opponent will catch on
- Save your big shots — don't use all your 6s and 4s in the first few balls
- Read the bowler — pay attention to what numbers they've been guessing
- Practice against AI — single player mode is great for developing strategies
